Reunion!!!

After 5 years, and we're still going strong. The Yok Bin Primary, 6B students of 2004. 5 years have passed since we left our school, and eventhough we went to different secondary schools, we still can't forget our roots.

This time around, Good Ol' Yu Yang who left us in Standard 4 and migrated to Australia joined us. Well, I don't really remember who he was, and i couldn't even reconise his face, nor could he remember me. So it was mutual. But anyhow, he was da bomb! He was like the noisiest guy around, going around and talking crap in his aussie accent. According to him, Australia makes people crazy, which makes sense since my two other friends from Australia who also have a few screws lose here and there. XD

Well we met at DP's MCD, the one closer to Taming Sari. Vincent Lim who was down from KL was able to join as he was staying at my house. We cycled there and 1st met Sarah, (who is as short as ever) and Yu Yang. After staring at him for a few moments, i concluded that i couldn't remember him. But who cares, the more the merrier.

The others came in time, Adrian, Joanna, Hse Khai, Kuang Chern, Edmund, Yi Ting, Chiew Fang, Agnes, Zhen Khai, Wei Cheng and Silk. So it was the 14 of us who actually heeded the call and turned up for the reunion. To be honest, they didn't look all that different. Some of them gained more weight, like Edmund but that was all there was.

Just as we were about to leave for the cinema, Vincent received a call.

Mom : Vincent, i'm coming to Jonah's house to pick you.
Vincent : When?
Mom : Now.
Vincent : Har........!!!

So I and Vincent had to rush back home. I had to follow Vincent cause he was not sure of the way home. So his reunion ended there. But not for me. After sending him back, i cycled back to DP under the hot sun.
This was probally the last reunion we were going to have and i'm definantly not going to miss it!

I arrived and met them at the DP cineplex, and we went to play at the arcade.

Then we went to the DP field and spent ONE WHOLE HOUR taking photos. This were some of the results. Damn we're crazy!

JUMP! But we all ain't sporting.

I had to leave early since I had something on at church. So it was sayonara for me at 5.30pm. They went for a movie later.

To see old classmates once again after so long is indeed fun. I will definantly never forget this time's reunion.

Old friends, New memories.

After 1530 8 December 2009

We shouted. And shouted, and shouted.
Then we went to return our borrowed books.
Then we shouted somemore.

Then few of us decided to go for a movie, 2012. The logic was since we couldn't destroy any thing to show our gladness of SPM ending, the next best thing was to watch a movie on destruction itself. Mass destruction.

So, Leroy, Gin Shen, Alvin Lau, Jackson, Andre, Prophet of Doom, and me went. Goh and Alvin left home 1st cause they wanted to. Then began the great desicion of where to eat. We literally walk through the whole of DP and MP just cause we couldn't decide where to eat out dunch or luncniner. Seoul garden, No. Sibarakku, No. MCD, don't even think about it. KFC, bluek. Pizza Hut, jelak. So we just walked and walk and walked and out steps brought us to Seoul Garden. We were 50% in when some people decided that it was too expensive...... So we ate at Pizza Hut.

Note about Mp Pizza Hut, it has the most waiters and the worst service ever. We had to wait, 10 minutes just to get seated and the place was so damn empty, 30 mins for our food and 20 mins to get a refill. What nonsense! The food came eventually, and we ate eventually, and we went for our movie eventually.

2012 was one of the best movies i watched, in terns of CGI. About 90% of the movie was CGI. All those destruction, everything computer generated. If Transformers was a movie that made CGI of robots not of this world look real, 2012 made CGI of a fake real world look so damn real. Beautiful, just beautiful. The 3D designers must have had plenty sleepless nghts just to create the perfect "world", and here I was struggling to use CAD tools to design a small car.

After the movie, which ended at about 9pm, we lepaked somemore and went home. But that was not before some of decided to waqke up at 5am the next day and go cycling. Yes, 5am.

Next day, 5am

I was brushing my teeth. Therefore i was late to reach the meeting place. But no matter, Alvin Lee Yee Chang was 30 minutes later than me. So the 4 of us who actually turned up, Goh, Eric, Yee Chang and Me set of from the Ong Kim Wee Lerun store and headed towards Tanjung Bidara. It was at about 6am at that time. Since we were passing Klebang, we decided to give somebody a wake up call. Literally. The victim : Joel Chua. Called him at 6.20 something when we reached his house. He woke up, came to his house gate, and shouted : " You people very free is it! Go home lah!"



Nah, I lied.

He came to his house gate, and asked us where we were going, then he went back to sleep. We then continued cycling.

We cycled pass condos, everlyn hotel, a tree, a stone, cars, motorbikes, The Melaka Club until we finally reached Pantai Puteri, which is in Tanjung Bidara. I think. There we paid a visit to brother's bungalow, where we were warmly welcomed by the Elite Canine Squad. "Warmly". They chased us and we fled. They ran and we ran. Looks like the Canine Squad was still faithfully doing their duty since the last time i saw them, 7 months ago.

We then went to the beach and chilled.

After a lot of nonsense by the beach, we went back to Joel's house where we had breakfast.

We later left for home.

That concludes the 1st episode of madness after SPM.

A Golden Opportunity Seized

Like I said in the earlier post, I will be going to the zoo. The reason it being so great is that I went with the Exchange Student's from Japan and Indonesia. WOOHOO!

So we were to meet at the zoo at 9am. I together with Yee Chang had no transport so we had to follow Wee Jin. Wee in told me to be ready by 8, but he only came at 8.30. no matter, as long as we made it to the zoo I'm happy.

We reached the zoo and met up with the last year's KAYAF troupe, together with some form 4's and of coarse the Japanese and Indonesian students. Very Nice!



After paying the ticket fee, which was RM5 (I'm a Malaysian student, don't i get a discount?) we proceeded to conquer the zoo.



The 1st animal we saw was an small alligator. I don't think the jap's have gone to a zoo before cause that together with every animal they saw were 'ka-wa-i'. Everything! The birds, the monkeys....LOL

After walking around looking at animals, watching zebra's fight and rhino's rampage, not to mention Jackson's hand being licked "clean" by a pony we proceeded to the performance area.

Anyway, the performance was quite decent, but since i watched it before it was not that exciting.





But for the Jap's everything was "su-geh!". They were watching the whole show with their mouths open. Especially when the orang utan came out.....

After that we continued our tour of the zoo. Saw animals,

and even more animals.

Eventually we got bored and started taking photos. Ahem....

The exchange students then wanted to go for the elephant ride. Probally never seen a live elephant in their lives, with the exception of the Indonesian students....

The fun was at the tiger and lion pens. The area was seperated by electric fences. Some of us got couragous and decided to......

Ever gone on a tram ride? It boring and bumby and people hardy talk. Anyway Koyo was sitting next to me so i striked up a conversation by asking him about anime. Seemed that he was a fan of naruto.(i have a feeling that all japanese are...) So i whipped out my hp and played some of the opening theme songs. To my suprise he got so excited that he started singing along! He even nudged Kurumi who was sitting in front and then she joined in too! Damn! Anime connects! They were singing to all the songs that i was playing. WOW! But they seemed suprised that I had anime songs in my hp. Kurumi was like "sugeh!" ever time i switched a song. Is it so suprising that a Malaysian listens to anime songs? I mean they listen to English songs......


Then it started to rain. So sad. So we took refuge under the shelter near the entrance. There we started talking with the other Jap's mainly Kaho and Hiroe. Found out that Hiro was a player of Final Fantasy 12. She even asked me what was my fav character which was most definantly Baltheir. When i told her that I had played for 120 hours and still not yet finished the game she just giggled. (no idea what that means) Also found out the Kaho was a fan of gundam and her fav anime was Reborn. Oh yeah! Anime AND rpg's connect!

One thing i noticed, there was a clear line between the Jap's and Indon's. It was like we were giving the most attention to the Jap's. (Which is true). Well, the Bible said that man cannot serve to masters. Either he loves one and hate's the other, or hates one and loves the other. Once again the words of the Bible are proven to be consistent and true.


Well it was tiring walking around for 3 hours in the zoo, and our tummies were starting to rumble. It was decided that we(the form 5's) take the Jap's out for lunch. The Indonesian's had their own agenda. So we decided to take them to a restorant in Dataran Pahlawan. Where i found out the Yukiko was a big fan of Michael Jackson. Anime, Rpg's AND music connect.

After lunch they wanted to but some souviners. So we took them to the Heritage Bazaar. Yukiko wanted to buy some shirts for her sisters and some of then wanted batik handkerchiefs. Well they shopped and shopped till they dropped. And we tagged along and helped to haggle.

Then came the hard part. The goodbye. For Yee Chang, Wee Jin and Me. The KAYAF had special privillages. They were still going for the farewell dinner. I'm not jealous. (DAMN YOU KAYAF troupe!!!) But for me it would be last time seeing them. Haiz.... So sad, so sad, so sad.

Now the inner flame within me is burning brighter. My will to go to Japan is stronger. I will and i must go to Japan!


But first I have to make sure that I know people there when i go. So what should I say when i email them...HMM....
