Blunder !!

Today i made a terrible blunder. And i'm ashamed of myself. Haiz

It all started with one phone call. But before i go on i would like to inform you about a 2 facts.

Fact #1 : I'm doing the prefect convention T-shirt and have asked the T-shirt shop for a sample.

So i recieved a phone call from an 06 number. This was around 12pm. I picked of the phone and the guy on the other end said this : " Your the prefect right? Your sample is ready." Then without another word he hanged up. Okay, so i was thinking that my prefect shirt sample was ready and i called my dad to fetch me there after lunch.

1.30pm
I went to the T-shirt shop. I opened the door. I walked to the guy at the counter and asked about the shirt. He was unsure about it so he called his brother. (Its a family buisness) His brother was equaly mistified when i told him that someone had called me and told me told me that a sample was ready. He told me that the T-shirt was not ready yet and that they were still at the printers. But since i insisted that someone had called me, he called the boss of the shop. He too said that he had not aclled me. To prove my point i showed him the number that called me.
Imagine my surprize when i found out that their shop had no such number. I was dumbfounded. Could it have been a prank?

Then suddenly the gears in my head started spinning. That when i realised something.

Fact #2 : I am also helping to do the prefect convention keychain and the keychain guy has promised me a sample.

OH CRAP!!

I was so humiliated. I didn't know where to put my face. Unnecessary troubling the T-shirt shop guy and my dad. I quickly took my leave and left the shop. True enough when i got home and checked the keychain shop phone number, it matched with the number with the number in my phone.

I was so ashamed of myself. CRAP. How could i make such a blunder. But still this experience has taught me a valuble lesson. Never, i mean never assume to much. Because u never know when it will turn and hit you in the face.

After that i went and collected the keychains. Its quite nice, but i'm not really satisfied with them. Well, we'll see, we'll see.

One things for sure, This year's prefect camp is gonna ROCK!!

LOVE

CNY BBQ

Yeah man!! Perfect timing Leroy!! Two BBQ's in a day!! That seriously rocked!!

Thursday was an eventful day. Morning we all headed out to Leroy's hse for a BBQ. We had loads of fun there, starting the fire, playing with lighters, discovering things that we shouldn't know about........(ahem). All was going well before the invasion of the ex-head prefects and ex-franciscans...Oh CRAP!!

Luckily, my dad came at the exact moment to fetch us to my hse for my BBQ. So all 8 of us squeezed into my Dad's avanza. Imagine that all 8 of us, Me, Leroy, Goh, Alvin Lau, Alvin Lee, Joel Yip, Sebastian and Yeow all in my dad's 7 seater Avanza. And my mom was alrd in the front seat. Can Die. 8 of us squeezing into seats designed for 3. Four in the front passanger seat and 4 at the back. Crazy!! Luckily we made it to my house without being caught by the police.. Phew...

Well at my house they all went to play my PS and i went to get the fire going. The BBQ was held at my neighbours house as it was bigger. Soon the fire was up and the BBQ started.

After eryone was full, my friends from Australia started to conduct some ice breaker games. everybody had to introduce themselves and state an item that represents them the most. And then we were split into groups and asked to make a story on how we could survive on an island the longest using just those items...The results was crazy.......

After that, David(my friend from Australia) lead us in a short devotion about Jesus. I am Christian so what's a BBQ if we don't take that oportunity to evangelize? Well anyway he gave us a 15 min devo and we continued with the games.

We played cherades (don't noe how to spell) and quiz. Very crazy and mad.....lazy to write bout them......want to noe what we played come ask me...LOL

Afterwards we all wen't to Pak Putra for a drink and food. If u haven't been to Pak Putra i tell u ur missing out a lot. it serves the best naan i ever tasted!! That place seriouly rocks. After that we all headed back to our respective homes.

Truly a fun filled day!! YEAH MAN!!

Chinese New Year is here!!!

Its that time of the year again. The time when people will be seeing red all the time, the time when the children will be gleaming with joy, and the time when people get together after a year of hard work. Surprisingly, it is also the hottest and most humid time of the year and ironicaly also the time where all the heaty foods hit the market. The all time favourite ba kua and mandrine oranges seem to have no end. But all together, Chinese New Year is one of the most enjoyable times of the year. For most anyway......

For me i spend the 1st 3 days of my CNY rotting at my grandparents place in PD. And the worst part is its right smack in the middle of no where. Haiz... so sien.... Luckily I thought of a fool proof way of leaving early, that is to organize a BBQ at my place!! Yeah Man!!!!
